Caterpillar Men's Antidote Steel I work for a shoe store that specializes in specifying the shoe (running or otherwise) that will be best for your foot type in eliminating or reducing stress on the your feet, ankles, knees, hips and lower back. There are 3 accredited pedorthists (board certified individuals who work with shoes, orthotics, etc. to solve any problems related to the foot) that work at the store who analyze your gait and suggest various shoes for you to try based on how much your foot pronates (rolls in or out at your ankle or when your arch flattens out). And from the professional opinion of these pedorthists these shoes are terrible for you. Because the base is like standing on a one inch peice of foam, it allows your foot a much higher range of movement-your foot rolls in or out much more than a regular shoe does because the ground is so much further away.. The only time this shoe works is if you have a completely neutral foot which is about 10% of the population. If you are one of the other 90% of the population you will likely sprain or twist your ankle and cause knee and hip pain amongst other issues by wearing this shoe. But if toning your thighs and rear are more important than healthy knees, you've found your shoe!
So So....This product is ok, not great... I would not recomend, poor fit and not good value for price. The best thing about this was the O'neil graphics. I previously purchased a similar product from Lands End at half the price and much better fit and quality. Published 2 months ago by edcinfg ?
Caterpillar Men's Antidote Steel The sneakers are great! This is my son's 4th pair and the fit well and last. He loves that they are simple to put on and the colors are fun.I will definitely buy more of them in the future.
