When talking handguard covers, quality manufacturers include Magpul, Tangodown, KAC, and Troy. Typically, products from Pro Mag get overlooked due to their lower quality, but these rail covers are an exception. The design is inspired by Tangodown's proven design, but utilize KAC's military appearance and simplicity. Currently, these rail covers are on my primary AR-15 on top of a Daniel Defense lite quadrail. They did loosen up a little after a few hundred rounds so I placed some small strips of electrical tape over the locking tooth and things tightened up nicely. These covers come in only one size and completely cover a 7 inch rail. I've tried trimming the length of these covers in the past and the results were less than stellar. If you don't need special sizes and you want a military appearance with better than military performance (I'm looking at you, KAC), give these a try. I was surprised by the quality of these rail covers, considering they were ProMag. They look legit, they feel comfortable and durable, and they're not too expensive like Magpul rail covers. I believe 1 of these rail covers will cover an entire side of a carbine-length rail, but I have a full-length rail, and 2 of these covers fit perfectly on each side and covered every slot. The only complaint I have about them is that they slide on, as opposed to snapping them on wherever you want, and because of that, installation was tough and made my thumbs raw.
